Knowledge Dock
As well as internationally recognised research we play a key role in the economic cultural and social development of our region We are situated at the heart of the London Thames Gateway one of the biggest regeneration sites in Europe and are working with our partners on a range of projects relating to health housing education transport community infrastructure and social enterprise
We are leaders in the growing area of university-business partnership and have attracted public and private support to set up the Knowledge Dock Centre at UEL providing expertise and consultancy to industry and the public sector Knowledge Dock now works with over 2000 businesses and entrepreneurs and offers a growing range of services and expert centres including the Fabric Print and Design Bueau FabPad Product Design Lab Simlab Inventors Club the HotHatch incubation facility and MAGIC the Multimedia and Games Innovation Centre
As part of our new Business School and Knowledge Dock Centre development at Docklands the Petchey Centre for Entrepreneurship is being developed with charitable funding from the Jack Petchey Foundation to encourage and educate future generations of entrepreneurs | | |
