Application Process Internship UK

Whether you are a current student or undergraduate with work experience or not, at Internship UK we provide our interns with practical hands on training and support. To excel and develop the necessary skills to prepare for a successful career ahead.

Applications to Internship-UK are on a rolling basis. You will be able to apply to the internship at any time of the year. Whether you are looking to fulfil a productive gap year or a summer internship, we are always accepting applications for internship programs.

The duration of our Internship programs range from a minimum duration of two weeks up to six months.

If you meet the criteria we are looking for, please take thirty to sixty minutes to complete our online application. If you do not finish the application in one sitting, feel free to save and complete later at our Internship-UK site.

Due to our large numbers of internship applicants, our online application is designed to help us find an adequate intern. You never know if that student intern is you! Please contact us if you wish to submit your CV or have any questions.

Make sure to include a photo as well as note work permit details in your application.

Conditions to apply:

1. For candidates from Non EU countries you must have a valid work permit that permits you to work full time in the UK (40 hours per week) before applying.

2. This internship must be part of your studies or related to your course of study.

3. Academically you must be of at least university degree level to apply.

4. You must be on a ERASMUS or Leonardo programme or be on a similiar scholarship or mobility programme to apply.

Step 1: Apply online at Internship-UK by completing the 45 question internship application form online.

Step 2: After completion if your Internship-UK application is successful we will respond to you within 24 hours with the status of your application.*

Step 3: If the application is successful, you will receive an interview request through email or telephone. The interview process involves three interviews with our HR staff and internship co-ordinator.

- The First interview will assess your character, background, motivation and comprehension of the English language.

- The Second interview will focus more on your theoretical and practical knowledge towards the internship program that you have applied for.

- The Third interview will be conducted by the Internship co-ordinator, who will assess a combination of your overall character, motivation and knowledge, to analyse whether you meet the requirements of the internship program that you have applied for.

Step 4: After completion of all interviews, applicants will receive notice of the final status of the application within 24 hours. If the interview process is successful, the student will be accepted into our unique Internship-UK program.

Step 5: Before being formally accepted, applicants will need to send over to us paperwork from the ERASMUS or Leonardo mobility programmes confirming your internship placement.

Step 6: After acceptance, the intern will receive further instructions via our HR Team.

After the successful completion of your internship you will receive a certificate of your internship and reference letter from the company.
